I help organizations make better decisions by gaining a deeper understanding of the people they intend to serve.
Researcher
I have worked with research teams in the fields of design, psychology, neuropsychology and sociology. Focusing mainly on qualitative work, I specialize in inductive research such as grounded theory, practice-based research and participatory action research. I bring this unique set of skills to my user research, stakeholder mapping, competitive research and evaluative research. I ground all my work in critical theory and methodologies.
Designer
I practice service design, graphic design, communication strategy, information design and knowledge translation. My graphic design style usually blends digital and material practices. I am skilled in calligraphy, lettering, and basic AfterEffects animation. I also have basic HTML/CSS coding skills. I am fully proficient with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
Activist
For the last 20 years, I have been involved in the social justice movement as part of my paid work (Raincity Housing, YMCA) and as a volunteer (Project 10, GRIS Montréal, Catherine White Holman Wellness Centre). I have positioned myself in allyship alongside queer and trans folks, unhoused people facing substance use and mental health challenges, birthing people and young people.
Bilingual
Québec born and raised, I am a native French speaker and fluent in English. This allows me to help design teams collect and interpret information about their French-speaking users and target audiences. I can also help navigate the unique challenges that bilingual design projects often present.
